80th anniversary of the inauguration of the Rimini-San Marino electric railway

The front of the pre-franked postal envelope bears, in the top right-hand corner, within a fluorescent frame, the franking imprint with simulated perforation reproducing a photo of the San Marino railway station in 1932 in which the blue-white train is visible. Completing the franking imprint are the legends “San Marino Railway Station, 1932”, “SAN MARINO” and the stamp value “€ 0.60”. In the bottom left-hand corner, the vignette shows in the background the original timetable of the Rimini-San Marino railway line with the technical drawing of an electric train of the time, on which four images stand out, from top to bottom, depicting, from top to bottom, the inauguration of the electric railway, a train carriage, an illustrative leaflet of the electric railway and a tunnel photographed during the Second World War. Completing the vignette is the legend ‘80TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE RIMINI-SAN MARINO ELECTRIC RAILWAY’. The reverse of the envelope reproduces the coat of arms of the Republic of San Marino and the logo of the Azienda Autonoma di Stato Filatelica e Numismatica. The inside of the envelope reproduces, on a blue background, the logo of the Azienda Autonoma di Stato Filatelica e Numismatica, repeated across the whole surface.
