Proof Divisional Coin Set 2018 with a 2EUR commemorative coins

The Ufficio Filatelico e Numismatico of San Marino issues a divisional coin set with two 2€ commemorative coins in proof finishing. The first 2€ commemorative coin is dedicated to Tintoretto, one of the greatest representatives of the Venetian school and of the Italian Renaissance; he was a precursor of Baroque art for his dramatic use of light and his emphatic perspective effects.The obverse of the coin depicts the embrace between the Virgin Mary and Elizabeth, a detail of the painting “Visitation”, kept at the Scuola Grande di San Rocco. The second 2€ commemorative coin celebrates Gian Lorenzo Bernini, one of the greatest artists of the Baroque era. The obverse of the coin portrays the famous marble statue “Bust of Costanza Bonarelli", which is displayed at the National Museum of Bargello in Florence.
