The stamp shows a view of the City of Valletta, one of the UNESCO sites on the island of Malta. The capital of Malta, which was inscribed in 1980, is linked to the history of the Military and Charitable Order of St. John of Jerusalem and is one of the most densely populated historical areas in the world. 2025 will mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malta and San Marino.
