The first issue in this new series, which aims to engage all generations by retracing the highlights of the thousand-year history of San Marino, is dedicated to ancient and medieval times. The four stamps depict the sanctuary of Tanaccia on Mount Titano, Saint Marino the stonemason, the three ancient towers and the territorial expansion following the Treaties of Fossombrone. Completing the four values are “1.85”, “San Marino”, the Coat of Arms of the Republic, the legend, the name of the designer and the year 2025. On the right-hand side of the sheet, at the top, is the legend “Storia Sammarinese” with a list of the entire series and the four themes for 2025 highlighted; at the bottom is the RSM logo, the website poste.sm and a QR code.
