The souvenir note of 1.000 scudo and its folder are dedicated to the Basilica del Santo, on the folder there is a description in both Italian and English. Characteristics of banknotes Format: 145 x 70 mm Paper: State-of-the-art technology, high-quality security cotton paper with watermark 95g/m2, UV dull, chemical reaction, 2 invisible UV fibers (yellow and blue), watermark “waves”. Printing: The result of an intaglio printing is a highly-detailed and structured print image that is appreciated for its depth and complexity, as well as for the tactility of the motif in the paper.
These notes contain 10 different colors. Viewed under UV light many details and information appear in different colors. 1. Offset Printing:
- Obverse: 5 spot colors (2 UV Fluorescent colors + 1 UV/pantone color mixed);
- Rverese: 5 spot colors (2 rainbow effects + 1 UV rainbow effect + 1 pantone mixed mixed with UV color). 2. Intaglio Printing:
- Reverse: Intaglio printing with extremely high resolution;
- The result of intaglio printing is a highly-detailed and structured print image, to give each note depth and complexity as well as tactility of the motif in the paper. 3. Numbering:
- Unique alphanumeric serial numbers in black color digital printing on 1 side of the note. 4. Hologram:
- Security holographic foil in golden color;
- Application through the hot foil stamping process;
- Individual shaped cliché 20 x 20 mm.
