Libertas Unicorn Pin

Libertas is the official mascot of the San Marino Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka. Created by Italian artist Simone Legno, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of the international brand tokidoki, Libertas embodies the essence of the Republic of San Marino. Its name, Libertas, recalls the iconic Statue of Liberty and symbolises San Marino's resilience in defending its independence over the centuries. Libertas' design incorporates elements of the Republic's coat of arms: the towers, also present in its eyes, and the feathers. Her green hair represents nature and Mount Titano, while the fan she holds is a tribute to Japan, the host country of the Expo. Libertas is not just a mascot, but a bridge between San Marino's thousand-year-old tradition and the innovation of the future, ready to tell the world the history and values of the oldest Republic in the world.
