San Marino continues the 10-euro coin series dedicated to the Chinese Lunar Calendar, which started in 2022. The Philatelic and Numismatic Division of Poste San Marino SpA has minted three 10-euro collection coins, Brilliant Uncirculated, dedicated to the Chinese Lunar Calendar, specifically to the signs rabbit, dragon and snake, year of issue 2023. This is the second year of issue of three coins from the series of 12 coins dedicated to the signs of the Chinese lunar calendar, a subject much demanded by collectors all over the world. The coins show on the obverse a composition with the three stylised towers and the three feathers, a laurel branch on the left and an oak branch on the right, while the sun is depicted between stylised clouds in the bottom centre. The first coin shows a rabbit on the reverse, the fourth sign of the Chinese lunar calendar. This is followed by coins depicting the dragon and the snake. The application of the colour red on the reverse of the coins and the inclusion of the sign inscription also in Chinese are what make the series so special.
