This emission is of a 1 ounce coin in silver 999‰ brilliant uncirculated (BU) version is of great importance, as it is the first in San Marino numismatic history. It is the beginning of a series, dedicated to the "Peregrine Falcon", an extraordinary and elegant native bird of prey which nests in a niche in the cliff near the First Tower.
