The souvenir sheet reproduces the “Nativity with Announcement to shepherds and Annunciation”, an altarpiece in glazed terracotta realized by Andrea della Robbia in 1480 for the Santa Chiara monastery in Sansepolcro. The work depicts in the upper lunette the Archangel Gabriel who brings Virgin Mary the announcement, at the center the birth of the Savior and in the background some angels announcing it to a shepherd.
