The Philatelic and Numismatic Office of San Marino proposes a divisionary series with both commemorative coins from € 2.00 in proof version. On the one hand, Alighiero degli Alighieri, known as Dante, born in Florence in 1265, is a poet par excellence, able to communicate with the sensitive language of the universal word. In the obverse, designed by Annalisa Masini, the profile of Dante, drawn from a fresco by Botticelli. On the other hand, the re-enactment of the reunification of the German state, which took place on 3 October 1990, not even one year after the fall of the Berlin Wall, which for 28 years had literally split Germany and the whole of Europe in two. The coin was designed by Erik Spiekermann, an internationally renowned German designer. Two commemorative coins, two historical and cultural anniversaries of an extraordinary and unrepeatable international quality complete the 2015 divisionary series in proof version.
