These are the first three coins in a new series of 12 coins dedicated to the signs of the Chinese Lunar Calendar.
The coins feature on the obverse a composition with the three stylised towers and the three feathers.
The application of the colour red to the sun, which surrounds the snouts of the animals reproduced on the reverse of the coins, and the inclusion of the inscription of the sign also in Chinese are precisely the peculiarity of the series.
