Centenary of the birth of Gianni Rodari

Gianni Rodari was the greatest Italian writer of children’s books: winner of the prestigious international Andersen Award, translated worldwide and author of the revolutionary “Grammar of Fantasy”. The stamps, issued on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the writer, depict a cat and a rocking horse, to recall some of the subjects of his extraordinary literary production.
