50 years of official relations with the People's Republic of China

The stamp depicts the logo that celebrates the close and lasting bond between the two States and their respective cultures: it is inspired by the three Towers of San Marino and the Chinese pagoda, the blue and the red colour of the two flags meet in a symbolic embrace and merge in the background. The logo was chosen as part of the competition organized by the Confucius Institute of San Marino, in collaboration with the Degree Courses in Design of the University of San Marino and Bejing City University, for the realization of the visual identity of the anniversary.
