General Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Shopping

1.1 POSTE uses an advance payment sales model, offering individual orders and/or annual subscription options.
1.2 The subscription model enables the Customer to reserve postal series and numismatic items issued during the year, with priority rights in the event of limited-edition items as well as preferential sales conditions. The contract is finalized upon receipt of payment by POSTE for all items requested. POSTE will set aside the amounts in a deposit account belonging to the Customer, debiting the purchase costs of the items reserved at the time of each individual issue.
1.3 Individual orders can be canceled until the items are entered into the shipping system.
1.4 The contractual relationship between the parties, in all its aspects, is governed by the laws in force in the Republic of San Marino and therefore any dispute that may arise between the contracting parties that cannot be settled amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of San Marino.

2. Return policies

2.1 The Customer may exercise the right of withdrawal by notifying POSTE and returning the items received, in perfect condition suitable for resale, up to 14 (fourteen) days after receipt, bearing the cost of return shipping. If the items, or part thereof, are returned in a state of deterioration or otherwise rendered unsaleable, POSTE reserves the right not to issue any refund.
2.2 In the event of a written cancellation of the subscription, POSTE will refund the outstanding amounts by bank transfer, after deducting €10.00 (ten) in administrative fees.
2.3 In the event of receiving defective or damaged items, the Customer is required to send a request for a refund or replacement to the email address info.dfn@poste.sm within 14 (fourteen) days of receiving the package, attaching photos of the items. Within the same period, the Customer is required to notify us of any incorrect fulfillment of orders. Whenever it is necessary to return the items, they must be sent back by the Customer to POSTE in perfect condition or in any case equivalent to the condition in which they were received. POSTE shall, within the following 30 (thirty) working days, notify the Customer of its willingness to comply with the requests, indicating the timing and methods of reimbursement or replacement of the product, or shall indicate the reasons preventing it from doing so.

3. Shipments

3.1 The Customer is required to verify that the shipping address is correct, including the street number and postal code, and to promptly notify POSTE of any changes. A telephone number and email address are essential for timely communication with the purchaser/subscriber.
3.2 If the package is returned to the sender for reasons not attributable to POSTE (expiry of storage period, incorrect address, or unknown recipient), the Customer will be contacted by telephone or email and the items may be re-sent at the Customer's expense. If the Customer cannot be located, the items will remain stored at POSTE for a maximum of 3 (three) months. After this period, they will be forfeited to POSTE, without prejudice to the Customer's right to request a refund within one year of the date of shipment.
3.3 Upon receipt of the items, the Customer is required to check the package, verifying that the packaging is intact and unaltered, including the sealing tape: in the event of obvious breakage, damage, or tampering with the packaging, the Customer may refuse delivery or accept it with reservation by writing “SPECIFIC RESERVATION OF ITEMS DUE TO” on the delivery document and indicating the precise reason for the reservation. In both cases, the Customer must promptly send an email to info.dfn@poste.sm with a description of the incident.

4. Prices

4.1 POSTE does not guarantee that the prices indicated on order forms and/or subscription forms will remain unchanged in the event of fluctuations in the prices of precious metals.
4.2 Any additional charges relating to taxes or customs duties in the destination country shall be borne by the Customer.
